Electronic Systems (SES) was established in September
1983 to provide an alternative source for IBM users in
services, IBM plug-compatible peripherals and special
purpose hardware that interface with IBM computer
systems. SES is proud of its record in Saudi Arabia of
being the FIRST successful "IBM THIRD PARTY
MAINTENANCE" company, the FIRST "IBM
PLUG-COMPATIBLE" supplier of bilingual peripherals,
and the FIRST "LEASING AND BROKERAGE" company
for IBM computer equipment. SES's well established role
in IBM field emanates from its founders' business
philosophy of professionalism, long term commitment,
dependability, and responsiveness.
SES has been on growth path since its inception; now SES
has sales and service centers in all three regions of
Saudi Arabia; Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. Headquartered
in Riyadh, SES covers the whole country through these
three centers. SES has four major departments:
Marketing, Customer Services, Software and Finance-and-Administration. The staff is comprised of 7
different nationalities. They are highly skilled, highly trained and well
educated. Outside and internal training of the staff is
a continuous process within the Company. Recognizing the
importance of sharing experiences with international
companies, SES entered into support and consultancy
agreements with them. Thus, SES has become well
connected in world markets through its association with
well known companies in the U.S.A, Europe, and Far East.
For more than 15 years, SES has been delivering IT
products and services that helped its customer's
business. Thus, SES established itself as a leading
provider of Information Technology in Saudi Arabia
through the high reliability of its products, its
friendly and dependable services, and its solid
financial position. Starting 1987 SES began diversifying
its product range to include PC's, data communications,
data capture and bar-code, and networking products.
Later, hospitality and software products followed.
